Patience and Faith

Originally created as a sketch for a client on mental health, the motif of the lotus inspires determination through adversity and acknowledges the slow and hard efforts it takes for anything to grow.

This piece was subsequently finished during the COVID-19 period to encourage and bring awareness to sources that could help others with their own mental health in COVID-19’s difficult times. It was inspired by the lyrics ‘ I’m home! / Where it’s a hundred in the shade / But with patience and faith / We remain unafraid ‘ from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights Broadway Musical.
