TO EAT AND BE EATEN
‘To Eat and Be Eaten: That is the mandate of heaven’ - inspired by a story of consumption from ‘Delicious in Dungeon’, this piece depicts Diana the goddess of the hunt consuming her hunt while living in harmony with it. Above, the tapestry of Acataeon hangs as warning while below, the bones and decay feed nature and births new life. To be a hunter and recognize that you will one day be hunted - that is the gracefulness of nature’s cycle that has been bestowed upon us.
