Back in my childhood, there were a lot of absurd situations that I experienced in nursery school. UnHappy Birthday tells of one story where I was told to bring a cake to class to celebrate my birthday. I had shyly implored my parents to buy my favourite expensive Japanese sponge cheesecake instead of the cheaper neighborhood ice cream cake.

Another girl had the same birthday. She brought an ice cream cake.

No one came to my table to celebrate my birthday with me. I sat and watched the entire class queue up for the ice cream cake.
